-A tale of laziness and lethargy-

LIMPOPO is the king of the pride. He is a very handsome lion. He is also lazy and fat. His five wives look after him and do everything he wishes. They choose the shadiest spot for him to rest. They keep everyone quiet while he sleeps. They hunt for his supper and have it ready when he wakes. They bring up his children and train them to be like their father.

In return Limpopo lets out the occasional roar to protect his family from danger. Until one day things change!

When the five wives decide they have had enough and can look after themselves perfectly well, they move away taking their children with them. Limpopo’s world suddenly comes to an end. It takes an unusual event to bring the family back together. And Limpopo is a changed animal!
