We have many sides, what’s yours? is the definition of doing things differently. Most of the time, people, in general, feel
misunderstood and alone, or that their thoughts and imagination are weird . However, in reality, we have more in common than we
think, and this is what this poetry book is about.
Xiomara’s goal in writing this book is to illustrate different sides of our thoughts, what we consider sexy, unappealing, healing that we
are afraid of at times, and a message. This book will have you dig deeper with each line, and at times, it may sound like it doesn’t make
sense until you allow your true self to come out.
This book opens up a conversation that we tend to ignore or run from because we feel like we will be judged for feeling emotions that
come naturally. The message here is that, no matter what happens in life, each part is either a lesson or a blessing. Things won’t always go our way,
but each situation molds us into who we will choose to become. Will we stick to our old ways, develop new ones, evolve in maturity or
remain scarred? It’s up to us to answer.
