This book provides a panoramic study of the books of the Bible, including both the Old and New Testament. It explains the formation of the canon and the selection process of the 66 books of the Bible. It also includes information about the formation of the books by their original authors, highlighting the historical and geographical context in which they lived. The study contains a simple outline of each book of the Bible and a summary of its content and the main theological themes, all of which allows the student to have the background from which to understand the content in its historical, political and social context so that a deeper study of the Bible may continue.
The book contains eight group lessons appropriate for youth and adults. Each lesson includes personal life application activities that can be put into practice in the ministries of the local church.
