D.R. Faust was raised in a small Kansas town to lower-middle-class parents. His father was an over-the-road truck driver and his mother a full-time housewife. From humble beginnings, he fought personal hardships to achieve success on many levels. Through determination, Faustwho at ninety-five pounds was the smallest boy in schoolrose within two years to become a multititled bodybuilder. Though he graduated from high school in the lowest 25 percent of his class, he went on to receive an academic scholarship to a private college. By the age of twenty-three, he had completed this book.
