After graduating from Boston English H.S., he attended the former North Adams State College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree; he was then appointed an Adjunct Professorship from LaSalle University after receiving a Juris Doctorate. He is a former educator in the North Adams and Williamstown school districts. He is an avid Numismatist and Philatelist, and also an amateur astronomer – as well as a recreational fencer. He has published a Mystery Trilogy, as well as several works dealing with U.S. history including American Phoenix: 1865-1900, from the Civil War to World Power, Volumes 1 and 2.
