Assisting students in locating relevant information remains especially critical in the digital era. As Rempel and Cossarini (2013) remind us the quantity of conveniently available information has made students less inclined to seek out information in the library. Information literacy is necessary so that people can continue lifelong learning. It is recognised that basic library skills and IT (Information Technology) skills are the foundations of information literacy competences.
