Giovanni Perri left his homeland as did many other Italians to find a better life in the United States. Giovanni settled in Western Pennsylvania and eventually opened a tailor shop in a town called Homestead, just outside Pittsburgh. The tailor shop and Giovanni made a lasting impression on his son, John Perri, who shares his memories with you in this memoir titled Johnnie's Tailor Shop: The Fabric of a Life Well Lived.
