There’s almost more than one person can live in the life of Carl Miller. It all started from his early life with his Olympic water polo father to weight lifting training with the famous Frank Spellman. Then he attended the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Arizona before being one of the first to join the Peace Corps in South America. He went from there to Japan working with the Women’s Olympic Volleyball and Olympic Weight lifting teams. And in between there were unbelievable experiences you’ll just have to read this book to discover. Did I mention Al Capone, Red Grange, bullfighting? All in all, Carl Miller was directed and shaped by people and situations that led up to the thirty-five years he spent as co-owner of Carl and Sandra’s Physical Conditioning Center and the years of his involvement with the City of Santa Fe, the oldest capital city in the United States.
