But a man, her new boss, offers friendship, affection … and deep down she still wants to believe, even trust, until her carefully manufactured metamorphosis starts unraveling. Susan Katrinka Butler of Lakeland, Florida, was inspired to write this story by her fascination of the American Southwest and a vacation there for a monumental four weeks with the Hopi Tribe.
