Jesus said, A new Covenant I make in My blood but with whom and what is the agreement? In this third book, J. Maurice Wright shares what the Holy Spirit led him to understand about our new covenant. It gives new insights into law, works, faith, love, and walking by the Holy Spirit. He states that testament and covenant produce very similar thinking, but which is best understood by the Jew or Gentile? Jews knew covenant better than Gentile, but both understood a testament. They both explain how God’s gifts are given. We are established, ‘In Christ’ through whom we contact the Father. He is the mirror through which the agreement is dimly viewed. We walk as He walked in the ‘Covenant of Love’. He lives the law and I live by faith in Him, co-heir of all the gifts he receives. We are now one step removed from the law. Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for the righteous shall live by faith, Gal 3:11. I can’t keep covenant-but Jesus can! There are discussion questions at the end of each chapter, for the reader or class. Jesse Maurice Wright was born and raised in Texas, to Christian parents. Being a preacher’s kid , he also lived in Colorado and Utah.Maurice attended Abilene Christian University, returning to Denver to marry, Janiece Selby, his wife of 64 years. He was a building and electrical contractor before retiring, serving as a Deacon and Elder in different congregations in Denver, CO., Chula Vista, CA., Las Vegas, NV., and Eugene, OR. The Lord has blessed me richly with a son and daughter, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
