James Edward Talmage was a writer and religious leader who served as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1911 until his death. This short piece, which tells the story of Mormonism, was a lecture delivered by Dr. James E. Talmage at the University of Michigan, Cornell University, and elsewhere.
