Stefan and the Celestial Sword

Stefan and the Celestial Sword is an historical fantasy set in 15th century eastern Europe chronicling the rise of Stefan the Great. After his father is assassinated, the young prince escapes and stumbles upon the sacred mountain of Dacia. There he finds Aparator, the broken celestial sword of the origin myth. Stefan must unravel the mysteries in the map of Zalmoxis to survive the many hazards on his journey to the Forges of Ezrok where only the cosmic blacksmith can restore the sword. While on this perilous quest, he encounters magical creatures, a mysterious Lady in White, Vlad Tepes, aka Dracula, and a telepathic land octopus.
To restore peace and prosperity to his beloved country, the fugitive prince must devise an ingenious strategy to slay the dragon Ismeju and evade the murderous mercenaries hunting him. Surrounded by treachery and danger, who can Stefan trust to help him rescue his family and save his country from a reign of terror? Can he defeat the assassin known as Bloody Scourge? Stefan will have to enter the Neck of Hell to find out.
