Preparing His Own Volume One

The premise for this commentary is simple: Learn all you can about what Jesus wanted His disciples to know and in the process you will discover what Jesus wants you to know. This is an extraordinarily intimate look into not only the person of Jesus, but also of Jesus calling the disciples: Come and see. Who were the apostles of Jesus Christ as men walking in the world? What were their motivations, histories, expectations? Most important is the answer to the question, what is there in all this for successful Christian living today? In the training of the twelve, Jesus was telling the disciples (and all of us) to ask the hard question when they did not comprehend. Do I want to know? Am I willing to change my life to find the truth? In killing Jesus, the world said no. The teachings of Christ require believers to say yes.
