Visit a farm and learn about all the animals you can find there in this delightful children’s book written and illustrated by Lynne Pickering. When Jane hears a strange noise on the farm, she wants to find out which animal is responsible! On her way to find out who done it, she learns about the different sounds that animals make. Her question Is It you? is answered once Jane hears all the animals. The author owned a childcare center and often wrote stories and did puppet shows for the children. She says farm stories were always popular. When I obtained the little sheep toys and the calico cows and the calico pigs, I thought they would be gorgeous in a book. So I painted backgrounds of countryside and obtained porcelain dolls, creating farm scenes for the characters. This is her second children’s book to be published. Another four books are also being published. James and the Naughty Seagull, James and the Greedy Naughty Seagull, James and the Jealous Naughty Seagull, and The Magic Doorway (a fairy story). Lynne Pickering resides in Warwick, Queensland, Australia. She paints art and exports art worldwide. Most of her children’s books were written over ten years ago. She revised them and edited them to be published. We intend to open an art gallery and coffee shop at our country retreat where friends can come and enjoy the many rare bird species and wildlife.
