PrefaceThe matter contained in this book was originally designed to be used as an article in the SOUTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN ADVOCATE. But upon examination it proved to he too important for condensation, and too long for use as at first designed without it. Therefore it was determined to give it to the public in the manner here presented, believing that it will fully repay the reader both in interest and profit.The writer has no apology to make for writing and offering to public patronage another book from his pen, except the belief and desire that it may do good.
