Is Our Ghana Broken? Perspectives on Ghana is filled with articles by Dr Kennedy, collated, edited and annotated by Okyere Bonna. In this book, Kennedy shares his perspectives on the current situation in Ghana. According to Kennedy, the NPP as a party needs more than a change in its constitution. It requires "a shift in attitude, a change in behaviours and a new ethic."
Kennedy served as Chairman of the NPP Communications Committee in 2008 after failing in his presidential bid for the flagbearer-ship of the NPP that same year. Kennedy is a strong advocate for reasonable and responsible governance rooted in Constitutionalism. He believes in a government based on a social contract with the people: "Waban." Kennedy has also authored two books: Chasing the Elephant into the Bush-- Politics of Complacency, and The Drug Invasion of West Africa.
