One day, they go on safari to a meadow across the pond, and Charles ends up being carried off by a butterfly! He falls from the sky into a farmyard birdbath, where he meets a group of toads. Amanda and the Frog Patrol arrive to rescue Charles. The frogs and toads all become friends and decide to work together to protect the farmyard from the bugs trying to take over the farm. Charles and Amanda: The Adventuresome Frogs shows that working together can solve almost any problem. Ivo is constantly inspired to try something new by the story by Sequoia, the Cherokee Indian who made his people literate in their own language in his own lifetime. No one else ever did that. Originally from New England, after a stint living in Alaska, Ivo now calls Durham, North Carolina home. He writes to encourage children to develop a sense of adventure and to exercise their power of imagination. Publisher’s website: http: //sbpra.com/Ivo
