Volume 4A is composed of phrases and clauses, laid out using an initial, single, common word and measured by column length as per the previous books in the series. The sentences etc. include statements and questions as well as cliches heard in everyday English conversation. At the back of the book in the appendix, are two ways of telling time - the normal and more common, twelve hour clock and the military, twenty four hour version.
