Originally published by the Idaho Bureau of Mines and Geology in 1946. It is one of the most comprehensive books on Gold in the State of Idaho. The state is broken out by counties. Each county has a map drawn showing all the placers and the Lodes by district. Over 20 maps illustrate all the gold producing districts and the author gives a history of the development of each district and mine along with known production.
