The Impact of a Children’s Story on Mothers and Children

This is a well-written report on a very interesting and original piece of research in the field of child development. Stories were read to children and the children’s subsequent reactions to the stories were noted in their play activities and in the group on a rereading of the story by the teacher. Case studies were carried out and the psychologically dynamic viewpoint of the report makes the findings well worth examining.
