New Developments in Human Rights

This book presents current research in the study of basic human rights, with a particular focus on the crimes against human rights and the laws which protect human rights. Topics discussed include terrorism and Miranda rights; characteristics of women who withdraw from the protection order process and their reason for withdrawal; judicial activity concerning enemy combatant detainees; the law and military policy on same-sex behaviour and the Violence against Women Act.
