John and Sally Ross return from a memorable vacation to Budapest, hoping for some peace and quiet at their Kentucky home. Sally ends up staying with their daughter undergoing cancer treatments in New York while John goes back home, only to be surprised by unexpected houseguests as well as having to deal with his cranky mother-in-law, spoiled adult son, and a few unsavory folks who have moved into the neighborhood.
