Mary Marianna, Great Owl, and the Chess Master

A story of learning how to be kind to those that need it most. When Mary Marianna discovers a homeless man on the street, she can't seem to get him out of her mind. Sensing her distress, the Great Owl comes to her with advice about how Mary Marianna can help. With her parents at her side, Mary Marianna does her best to get him on his feet. In doing so, she realizes that it is the smallest of choices to help those in need that make the biggest of differences.
