When Isabelle Weston takes leave from work to help her brother, Finn, overcome the depression he’s been in since losing his legs, Isabelle’s mother convinces her that spending time at the family’s lake lodge in the Adirondacks is just the thing Finn needs to regain perspective and start over. She also believes that the surest way to keep him there is to invite along his best friend, Mateo Elizondo. The trouble is that Mateo is also Isabelle’s former fiance…Isabelle resolves to ignore Mateo’s magnetic presence and focus her attention on Finn.
