We often have dreams and desires, but we never know what tomorrow might bring forth. Fred Summers, a gay, divorced parent, is about to celebrate his sixty-fifth birthday. Peter, his only son decides to arrange a party for him, and chooses as the dress theme, someone or something you would like to be. It is during the party, which is over a weekend, that characters’ alter egos appear and their sub-conscious desires are exposed, along with their emotions towards each other - some good and some bad. Fred’s ex-lover appears and brings romance back into their lives, while Peter has to deal emotionally with a two-timing boyfriend. As Fred warns his son, it’s always good to think of tomorrow, and should tomorrow arrive, there is no doubt it will be different from today, and with it will come different emotions, different ideas and different people. Tomorrow is a gay romance in which the characters explore their identities, loves, and eventually discover that, with effort and understanding, tomorrow can always be better than today.
