Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in Tarrytown formembers of their order before opening to women in 1961, Mercy College hasalways striven to positively impact the lives of its students and the membersof its community. In 1969, the college became coeducational and nonsectarian.The main campus in Dobbs Ferry expanded throughout the New York metropolitanarea, operating several branch campuses in New York City and WestchesterCounty.
