When Amy discovers a trunk in her grandfather’s attic, she magically travels through it, discovering strange new worlds and embarking on a series of fantastic adventures spanning both time and space. After a terrible battle between two powerful armies of gold and silver chess pieces, each of which possesses certain human attributes, one of the silver knights creates a vast hypercube that acts as a time machine. Realizing that she can restart the flow of time only by solving certain puzzles, Amy is forced to overcome her fears and use every bit of her artfulness and wit.
