Built Stronger

This book, Built Stronger, I Am What I Am, explores the two important issues of power and success through the eyes of people from different parts of the world and different backgrounds. In encounters with each of these, and in situations where their lives could be observed, the author has had the great opportunity to share in the love of God and His salvation. Using Scripture verses as a background, the message the author conveys is one of encouragement-encouragement to know who you are and to whom you belong-for he believes that God will equip you (the reader) with a solid self-esteem that will help you to be built stronger for whatever life brings your way. Herbert C. Long is a man who has known great triumph and great tragedy yet has a faith in God and a positive attitude about life that is infectious. Many years spent in Corporate America as a troubleshooter in demand has brought him across the paths of those who need both faith in Jesus Christ and encouragement to rise above their problems by seeing God’s plans for their lives. The author was brought up on an old-fashioned religion that majored on guilt. It was later in life that Herbert Long came to experience God’s grace. This is what he sought to share with others as he traveled the world in his long career. He now sees himself as a messenger delivering the message of the love of God and the positive energy that comes from knowing His grace. Herbert lives in Cape Coral, FL with his wife Nancy.
