Jerry of the Islands is Jack London’s story of South Sea adventure told through the eyes of a loyal and intelligent dog. Jerry is a six-month old Irish Terrier. He has lived all his life with his mother and father on a plantation in the Solomon Islands. His life is simple and enjoyable and safe. When his beloved Mister Higgins suddenly takes him away on a boat and gives him to Captain Van Horn, however, his world is turned upside down.
