She holds a M.S. in Geology from the University of California-Davis and a B.A. from Amherst College in Massachusetts. Leslie has extensive experience educating the public about rocks and minerals through exhibit design, public lectures, in-school classroom programs, and informal interactions at the museum. Jacob Selander is a geology instructor at Highline College in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from University of Oregon with a B.S. in Geological Sciences before going on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of California, Davis, for a M.S. and Ph.D., respectively. 336 colour photographs
