Preparing the bride out of the End-Times church is one of the most important works of the Holy Spirit at the present time. The Lord desires all men to be saved and is preparing the redeemed to become the bride of Christ.

Using four scriptural facts taken from Ephesians 5:25-27, Pope reveals new insight to the preparation of the bride of Christ to the churches. He discusses in depth what it means to become a part of Christ’s glorious bride. The bride has been predestined by God and purchased by the crucifixion of Christ. She is being prepared out of the End-Times church, and will one day be presented as a glorious bride to her Bridegroom.

Pope uses the scriptural account of the lukewarm church at Laodicea in Revelations 3:14-22 as an example of what the bride of Christ is not to be. Although this self-sufficient, no-need church would not qualify to fulfill the prophetic scripture of Ephesians 5:27, Christ, however, still loved the Laodicean church. The modern church should learn from the mistakes of Laodicea and not follow in their footsteps.

The Lord’s ultimate goal for the redeemed is to give birth to a bride class. The Bridegroom is patiently waiting for the bride to make herself ready for eternal life. About the Author:

Pastor Drexel L. Pope Sr. and his wife founded an independent charismatic church in the Phoenix, Arizona, area in 1982. He also leads and moderates a unique community Bible discussion group using the expository approach to Bible study. Pope, who was born again in April 1953 while attending the Church of God in Clovis, N.M., retired from teaching after twenty-nine years in 1988. This is his second book with Creation House. The first, Redeemed to Overcome, was released in 2006.
