Several well known leaders in church growth requested that the history and events of The Country Church be recorded. Pastor Butch Ikels has attempted to carry this out with a three fold purpose. First and foremost, to exalt The Lovely Lord Jesus who made it all possible. Second, to inspire church planters in rural areas to trust the Lord and dare to minister outside the box.
