Lushly illustrated, it is a graphic novel tale of samurai culture and a murder mystery. Dark forces lurk in the shadows, plotting and waiting for their time to arrive. The mystery of the dead samurai continues to loom over the village, as a tortured Kyuzomo clings to his memory of Keiko, and a life that he knows he cannot return to. He finally agrees to speak with the rival magistrate Daifuni, in an attempt to discover if Daifuni is indeed responsible for the murders in the village, as well as the disappearance of Kyuzomo’s father. But danger and murder confront Kyuzomo at every turn, as he is forced to battle against the powerful vampire ninjas that are out to destroy him. Ultimately, the deep wounds of loss and betrayal push Kyuzomo to his breaking point, and a dire decision to abandon the village of Yohan, never to return. Aron Lusen is a comics creator and top colorist whose coloring credits include X-Treme X-Men , Battle Chasers , EVE Protomecha , Soul Saga , Uncanny X-Men , New X-Men , Fantastic Four , and Darkness/Batman . His clients include PSM magazine, Microsoft, Reebok, Psygnosis, Def Jam Records, Wingspan Records, Hollywood Reporter , and TV Guide . Aron debuted his own smash title EVE ProtoMecha from Image Comics, and is currently working on a new series of graphic novels for the publisher ibooks. Aron Lusen is also the co-founder of the award winning design house, Liquid!. His groundbreaking work at Liquid!
