ABOUT THE BOOK
Angelica Pascoli, known best by her moniker of Ace, is an ex-CIA assassin turned independent contractor. Semi-retired and taking only special jobs, she’s been living a comfortable life on her pleasant villa in southern Italy for the past four years.
Now Ace has been summoned (not entirely unexpectedly) and must return to her roots in New Jersey. Her Uncle Tony, the head of the crime family where she grew up, learned, and honed the skills required to maintain her career, has always considered Ace his logical successor. He recognized Ace’s leadership qualities early on–her keen intelligence, necessary firearms skills and, above all, her drive to protect what was hers.

This poses a problem for Ace who doesn’t like cold, doesn’t like cities and especially doesn’t like people knowing who she is. New Jersey is not exactly the place of her dreams …
Moreover, Uncle Tony explained that, in addition to assuming the reins of leadership, he expects Ace to seal an alliance with another area family in order to assure harmony and stability within the New Jersey families … and this involves Ace taking a husband … an event that is most definitely not in her plans.
There’s only one small problem … Ace’s future partner is currently facing a potential long-term prison sentence …
