Ouroboros

I’ve always thought it’s easier to be cynical. You don’t gamble. You don’t put anything up. You never have to fear losing anything… but you never gain anything either. You’ll never feel any sort of accomplishment. I think that’s your problem, Aiden. You’ve never gambled anything. I think you can though. Even if you lose you just got to stand back up again. You just got to keep standing up. Aiden kills people for the mob and he needs to stop but he doesn’t know how. He lives in a crummy apartment and wants to move away but no matter how much he tries he’s afraid of failing. He has people by his side who are pushing him to overcome but they don’t know what he is and he doesn’t dare tell them. He has a woman he loves and two men he respects. Even if he can live a normal healthy life he’s not sure if he even deserves it.
