The Midnight Sun

The Yukon River Quest is a race to the Midnight Sun. Nearly five hundred miles of Canadian wilderness confronts the competitors. FBI Agent Tabitha Knowles has trained with her work partner Victoria for months in preparation. But on the eve of the competition devastating news takes Victoria out of the race. Finding the experienced Diana Crenshaw equally stranded seems like a miracle, at first. Though they know nothing about each other beyond their reputations as competitive paddlers, they join forces, neither knowing they’ve about to be in the race of their lives–with only a fraction of the distance covered, Tabitha and Diana are driven off the river by a sniper’s bullets.

Forced into the deep woods, they struggle against the wilderness and their growing attraction to each other. Tabitha will do whatever it takes to get them both to safety, but she doesn’t know the strength of their pursuer–or the answer to the critical question: Which of the two of them is the real target?
