Writing on the Wall

It doesn’t take San Francisco Detective Del Mason long to realize that her new neighbor, Lola Bannon, has more baggage than a cruise ship. She’s seen too many victims of domestic violence not to recognize all the signs. Their mutual spark of attraction is compelling, but she knows that for now Lola needs friends, not lovers. When Lola is mugged and then her home vandalized, Del can’t help but take a personal interest though other detectives are on the case.
