Aspen’s Embers

Aspen Brown lives in the Maine town of Codyville Plantation. Her life is teaching and the environment until Leigh Wright comes long and turns her life upside down. Leigh is a forester who arrives in Codyville Plantation with a new venture that could mean the economic salvation for this tiny Maine town. But it also could threaten the very being of Aspen who finds trees to be a lot better company than people. Sparks fly between the two women until both women are forced to make a choice. How often has economic development clashed with preserving the environment?
