The Mont Blanc Range: Classic Snow, Ice and Mixed Climbs

This is where many of Europe’s most accomplished climbers were introduced to the sport, and where mountaineers from world-round come to experience one of the planet’s great alpine playgrounds. The Mont Blanc Range describes 21 tours in which there are more than 50 routes displayed on 34 maps. Each tour is illustrated with color photos and provides information on the approach, ascent, and descent. Each climb also includes a description of difficulty, time to complete, elevation gain, best time of year to attempt the tour, and the equipment needed.
