The turtles knew their bridge was in disrepair. It was dangerous, and the water underneath was becoming polluted. When overzealous and hastily conceived improvements threatened the turtles’ homes and community, they realized they had to do something, but they were just small turtles. What could they do? Spurred by the young turtles in school, his wife, and fellow turtles, a reluctant George Spottedback rises to the challenge to lead, working on a plan that will bring the animals together to build a better bridge and future for everyone.
