The manuscript of The Time of Pedro sat on Joe Cohen’s desk for 34 years before this final revision. He is a lifetime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, with interruptions for military service and peripatetic travels. Along with publishing seven novels, he has worked a variety of jobs, including news reporter, teamster, and teacher.
