Have Faith: Sustaining the Spirit for Confirmation and Beyond

Have Faith is a unique approach to helping you prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. It invites you to examine your spiritual callings, your commitments, the challenges of discipleship, and to develop - for yourself - a well-thought-out Spiritual Growth Plan for life after Confirmation. Your sponsor will also get a copy of Have Faith and will be working on the same things as you. Three times during this preparation process, the two of you will share notes - over the phone, via e-mail, or face to face. Whatever works best for you. Have Faith helps you develop spiritual sensitivities as you: discover the dominant dimensions of your spiritual life; explore the ways you are responding to your vocational callings; examine the Creed, review how Catholicism is different and unique, and assess your religious knowledge of the Catholic faith; recognize the gifts of Holy Spirit in different situations; and identify the tasks for your ongoing journey of discipleship. Have Faith is something you do on your own - but not alone. It treats you like an adult, placing the opportunity of spiritual growth and final preparation in your hands - which is probably the way you prefer it to be.
