The study and applications of industrial statistics have grown significantly over the last two decades. The development of methods and techniques for quantitatively handling problems that arise in industry has become increasingly important and one of the most active areas of statistical research. This text presents the most fundamental and common statistical methods used in industrial applications. It introduces a variety of statistical methods, and uses well-motivated problems and practical examples.
