Concrete Poetry

Poetry need not be complicated. In fact, some of the most time-honored forms of this creative writing style are intended largely for children. This series combines colorful illustrations with accessible example poems and fundamental analysis to introduce readers to the simplicity of haiku, humor of limericks, music of nursery rhymes, and imaginative forms of concrete poetry. Each book concludes with Think Like a Poet exercises to encourage hands-on experimentations.
