The Human Body

From the Thinking About Science Series, The Human Body is an informative, fun-filled unit on the human body. The book explores each of the body systems and the relations between them. It teaches about the major parts of each system. Students also learn how they fit into the rest of the animal kingdom and what sets them apart from other animals. Students are presented with opportunities to practice crucial critical- and creative-thinking skills. A variety of types of activities are included: creative writing, research, analyzing, evaluating, and more. A fun What’s the Question? game is provided to reinforce the concepts learned in the unit.
