Paddling Oregon

Oregon’s varied waters include ocean surf, steep mountain creeks, and high volume rivers. Its streams flow though desert canyons; forested wilderness; lush scenic gorges; and wide open spaces. Oregon boasts more federally designated Wild and Scenic rivers than any state in the nation. Many streams in the state require white water skills, but others can be enjoyed by the novice paddler.
