While Risky Love is #1 in the Alexandra Series, it really is a continuation of the Samantha’s Love and Romance Series. Different characters, different plot, different ending, but the same contemporary romance that keeps you turning the pages wanting more. I love Denise Daniella Darcy’s books. One cool thing in all of her books is she provides an alternate ending, which I really like. It keeps you guessing not only to the end, but past that to the second ending as well. A unique way of writing. I also like the length. Some readers prefer super long novels, but I like the ones that you can read without having to keep checking back because you can’t remember some important detail. I really enjoyed this book. It was romantic and real and believable yet not over the top. Too often I find that the romance novels are too in depth and lose me somewhere along the way. Risky Love has a good story and interesting characters who could actually be your best friend, mother or father. I like the shorter length also, where I can read it from start to finish and still keep track of everyone and what is happening.
