This book is an introduction to the microscopic world, a world we discover far too late in life, if at all. By making the microscopic world interesting we throw new light on the rest of the world. Flukey is a young flea who stumbles from one landscape to another and explores them and are described as he would see them and without obvious knowledge of what they are, that’s for the reader to guess or discover. This is the simplest of the books that are to come, the first of many adventures.
