Author Lester Turner (Tony) was called into ministry in 1982. He has been a resident of Missouri his entire life. After being called, he attended Calvary Bible College in Belton, MO, where he received a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Studies. He continued his education at Northwest Missouri State in Saint Joseph, MO.
Lester has pastored several churches during his ministry. The current church is Set Free Bible Church in Ava, Mo, where he began preaching in 2003. He has been married to his wife, Julia Turner for more than fifty years. They have a daughter Teresa Miller they are very proud of.
