No Mo’ Abuse

No Mo’ Abuse is a collection of poems written by Ann Heir for women in abusive relationships. This collection includes poems including a narrative poem titled Rally of a Warrior detailing a scene from Heir’s own experience with abuse, along with poems written in various styles that encourage readers to get to know God ( Who Are You God? ), find freedom from abuse ( Be Free ), find their life purpose ( A Long Journey ), and go make a difference ( The Aftermath ). Poems included in this collection are written to move readers from an abusive relationship to knowing God to healing. Readers are encouraged to begin a life free from abuse. Ann is a graduate of Bethune Cookman University and Jacksonville University, where she received a Master of Arts in Teaching Educational Leadership. She is an assistant principal with Duval County Public Schools. Her goal is to impact lives.
